FPME

Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises The FPME program offers UNIDAD members and other affiliated groups the opportunity to obtain loans to support their entrepreneurial projects. To become eligible, applicants must meet several criteria, including active membership in UNIDAD or a partner organization, and compliance with program rules, such as no criminal history and non-violent participation. Applicants must apply valid identification, and proof of address and pay an application fee. Once approved, loan amounts range from US$100 to US$30,000, with repayment terms and interest rates set based on the amount borrowed.

Loan management includes rigorous steps, such as project analysis, field assessment, and issuance of funds with clear contractual commitments. Members must repay their loan on a set schedule, with penalties for late payments. Strict disciplinary measures are applied for non-compliance with program rules, ranging from financial sanctions to temporary suspension or even permanent exclusion. In summary, the FPME program aims to support entrepreneurship while ensuring discipline and compliance among its members, with clear mechanisms to ensure the proper management of funds and the success of funded projects.
